Join us for a 4-week series this June to deep dive into Somatic work in a fun and supportive environment. You’ll come out more attuned to yourself, your needs, and the world. You’ll find confidence in your own skin and your own voice. The series will progress week by week but if only one week interests you, that is available too.
Week 1- Sensing with Somatics
This will be a chance to increase your Somatic vocabulary, feel yourself more deeply and learn to listen when your body speaks. We will also dive into the stress cycle and learn how we can work with it rather than fight it.
Week 2- Release and Refresh
We will learn to release pent up stress and excess toxins. We will mobilize the unfinished actions in our bodies through gentle movement and mindfulness.
Week 3-orienting to the here and now
We will take a look at how generational trauma and stressors can impact our current nervous system state, behaviours, and reactions. We will release old patterns that have been holding us back. We will build our sense of time and space. We will bring all of our senses to the here and now.
Week 4- Restoring the system
This will be the sweetest of the series. We will give back to ourselves in a deep and compassionate way. We will restore at a cellular level and work on our boundaries so we are prepared to be in the world, no matter what it brings us.
