I am a Yoga Alliance Certfied (RYT 200 hrs) Teacher and an ACSM certfied Fitness Instructor. I am a newcomer in Canada and have over 20+ years of experience in teaching Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga with proper body alignment and breathing.
Even though my approach and style in yoga is very traditonal, I believe in a scientfic approach in the postures; which further drove me to pursuing an ACSM ( American College of Sports Medicine ) Health and Fitness Certification. It was here, where I got my exposure to human anatomy and muscle movement patterns. I have integrated a lot of my scientific learnings about the human body, positoning, optmal joint angles and movements into my Yoga classes and have seen an overwhelming positive response in my clients. I like to also emphasize the importance of correct breathing and breath control exercises (Pranayamas) in my class

Jeina’s yoga journey began in 2010 when she started to study at Iyengar Center in St. Petersburg, Russia. This provided her with an excellent understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics. In the following years, she became acquainted with other yoga disciplines such as Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Chinese joint gymnastics as well.

In 2016, Jeina completed the first teaching certification, the Yoga Teacher Training for Beginners from the International Yoga Federation. Becoming a yoga instructor opened her new dimensions of self-discovery through helping others. By studying different bodies, characters, and individual traits, she developed greater respect for the body and psyche.

In 2019 Jeina delved deeper into women's health, studying under the best teachers in Russia and earning certifications in Women’s Health Yoga Teacher Training and Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training from the Additional Professional Education Training Center, Russia. Shortly afterward, she completed courses with Françoise Freedman from the Birthlight school on Postnatal Recovery, working with scars after cesarean sections, and practices for diastasis, in England.

Her family moved to Canada in June 2022 where she successfully completed the teacher training course at Your Yoga Flow School and received the “200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher” certificate.

Having gone through two very different pregnancies and experiencing completely different births, Jeina believes that her knowledge in yoga and women's health will be beneficial and healing for the local community.

Dorriz Mojtabavi

* Power yoga, hatha yoga
* Tarot & astrology
* New moon & full moon yoga

Dorriz Mojtabavi

Hi there, I'm Dorriz, a dedicated yogi who embarked on my 200H YTT journey during a transformative gap year in 2019. What began as personal exploration blossomed into a calling to share the magic of yoga with others.

Back home, serendipity led me to my first teaching opportunity, affirming my path as a yoga instructor. Inspired by the unity and oneness that yoga embodies, I founded Dorrtounity (where "Dorr" opens the Door to Unity), a space where I aim to remind others of this beautiful truth.

Throughout my teaching journey, I've specialized in Hatha and Power, infusing each practice with a touch of Tarot and Astrology. I've found joy in blending these elements, hosting unique events like New Moon and Full Moon Yoga + Tarot Circles. It's been incredible to see how Tarot enriches the yoga experience, creating moments of insight and connection.

Join me on the mat as we explore the harmonious convergence of body, mind, and spirit. Let's unlock the door to unity together.

Shawna Dexter

- Pilates
- teaches with a focus on fun, accessible movement

Shawna Dexter

I'm Shawna (she/her). A lifelong athlete and teacher, I was inspired to start my journey in Pilates 6 years ago as a means of recovery after experiencing a chronic back injury. Coming from a science background, I quickly began learning all I could about Pilates and mindful movement for injury recuperation. And, naturally, began to share everything I learned with anyone who would listen. Today, I spend most of my day in motion, sharing my passion for effective movement with healthy and injured bodies alike. I teach with a focus on fun, accessible movement in a style that is grounded in my STOTT pilates training, while also incorporating elements of clinical pilates, yoga, functional fitness and the new things I learn every day about how to keep your body moving happily.

Taylor Townsend

* Restorative yoga

Taylor Townsend

Hi everyone! My name’s Taylor.

I’m a qualified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200 hrs) with over 450 hrs of training from Hatha, Restorative and Advanced Asana and Assisting, to Pranayama, Philosophy and Ayurveda. I have loved practicing the powerful modality of yoga for over 15 years, and teaching for over 4 years.

Yoga to me, is a practice about the mind, breath, body and soul. What a lot of people don’t know about the practice of yoga, is that it is something that can be accessible to everyone, regardless of flexibility or body shape.

Traditional yoga is about listening to your body, and finding your personal edges and challenges to release any built up physical and mental tensions, and ultimately find a sense of joy, peace and calm. In reaching these states through the physical practice of yoga (asanas), it’s important to make the shapes work for your body, not the other way around.

When we take time to tune out of life’s daily stimuli and influences to tune into our body’s intuitive movement, providing what it wants and what feels good, we can start to notice beautiful senses of presence and calm that carry off the mat, and into our daily lives.

Join me on the journey 💛

MJ Sagert

Hi! My name is MJ and I teach Hatha. I’m passionate about movement and how it can deepen our connection with our bodies.

MJ Sagert

Hi! My name is MJ and I teach Hatha. I’m passionate about movement and how it can deepen our connection with our bodies. I aim to create an inclusive environment for all levels and abilities whether it’s your first time or you practice daily, my goal is to bring the yoga to you and meet you where you’re at, so we can all get the most out of our practice.

I started my yoga journey online during COVID because I had heard it was a good workout and before I knew it yoga was so much more than that. I fell in love with all aspects of my physical, mental and spiritual journey on and off the mat. I fell in love with this practice that always has something new to teach me, the gift that keeps on giving, so then I knew I wanted to share this gift with others. In March 2024 I did my 200hr ytt with Karma teachers in Vancouver.

I get on my mat to ground myself back to the earth, to release and to strengthen my mind, body and spirit. In my classes I focus on building strength and fire while also taking our time to open up the body. I also love to encourage to have fun and explore! I’m a firm believer that playing with movement hugely impacts our mind, body connection and brings even more excitement and inspiration to your practice! See you on the mat :)
