Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep)
Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a supported and guided meditation practice performed lying down with props in corpse pose (shavasana) where you drift into the deep border between wakefulness and sleep.
Through a structured audio walkthrough of body scans, breath awareness, and gentle visualization through the subtle body (chakras, koshas, etc.), your physical body and nervous system enter a profound state of rest while a thin thread of conscious awareness remains awake.
Slower than Restorative and Yin Yoga, this style is accessible to all levels, is an ancient technique which helps reduce stress, ease anxiety, and restore the mind and body without requiring any physical exertion.
